Well, it’s not just one new kind of Expression Language. It could be whatever you want it to be! Invent your own JSP syntax for your frameworks, toolkits, applications, and even you can have “page” specific syntax! This is just what we need - oh well, some one in the Java Community Process (JCP) thought we needed it!
