Govt. orders ban on bulk SMSes and MMSes for next 72 hours

NEW DELHI - Ahead of Ayodhya verdict, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Wednesday evening directed all Mobile Telecom Services Providers in the country for banning all bulk SMSes and MMSes in all service areas with immediate effect for next 72 hours
The order has been issued in consultation with the Ministry of Home Affairs to all Mobile Telecom Services Providers in the country, a Ministry of Communications and Information Technology statement said today. (ANI)
