Live By The Creed Again: “Assassin’s Creed II: Lineage” Clip Out

San Francisco - The sequel to the famous Assassin’s Creed will be releasing on 17th of November for the gamers to feast upon and will be called Assassin’s Creed II. However, in the meantime the game developers have released a special 14 minute video which was available on YouTube for 24 hours on the 27th of October. This video gives the gamers an insight on how and why the whole upcoming adventure takes place. The video follows the protagonist Enzio’s father, Giovanni, who serves as a banker and a secret assassin. The short film gives us the background information on the whole story taking place before we can play it on Xbox 360, PS3 or our PCs.

The short movies have been called ‘Assassin’s Creed II : Lineage‘, and two more of them are scheduled to be released, according to sources. The trailer mixes up computer generated imagery along with live action. Nov 20th will see the game being released in the PAL regions. The mini-movies have been developed by Ubisoft’s Hybride Technologies, who also worked on movies like “Sin City” and “300″.

The creative director of the game- Patrice Desilets, went on an interview to reveal some facts about the game. Accordingly, the gamers will be playing as Enzio, who has turned into an assassin from a nobleman, to avenge for his father and brother’s death. The adventure sees the player protecting Enzio’s family of mother and sister while fighting the rival family. Enzio is a descendant of Altair who featured in the game’s prequel. They both are ascendants to Desmond Miles, who is abducted by Adstergo. With such interesting concept, it is taken for granted that “Assassin’s Creed: Lineage” will strike a cord among fans.
