Maoists hack two CPI (M) workers to death

WEST MIDNAPORE - Two CPI (M) workers were reportedly hacked to death by Maoists in West Bengal’s West Midnapore district on Wednesday night.

CPI (M) worker Tapan Mudi’s body was found on the road off Sharpura forest today.

In separate incident, Dilip Mahto, a member of the CPI (M)’s Manidaha local committee, was shot dead last night. He was kidnapped from his house in the Kotwali police station area.

Meanwhile, three other CPI (M) workers have been abducted by Maoists from the Goaltore area. (ANI)
