As Apple recently launched iPad across the globe, Microsoft delivered some good news with its tablet PC. I found some interesting stuff from different trusted news sources about the gadget and I love to share the leaked information with you. The Microsoft Courier is a “digital journal” which is less than one inch think, weighs less than half a kg and the size is similar to 5×7″ photo card after folding. That is much smaller than many people expected.
Courier is built on NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and runs on Windows CE 6
similar to the Zune HD, Pink, and Windows Mobile 7 Series. Although, the interface is touch based, the main focus is on writing and drawing with built-in handwriting recognition. The device will also serve as an ebook platform because Microsoft is building a big book library around it. The device has a built-in camera, and there’s going to be a headphone jack for media playback. The expected launch date is Q3 or Q4.
