NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems that Nokia is determined to regain its lost territory in the Indian market. The number one cell phone handset maker of the world has been steadily losing market share to rivals like Apple, LG and Samsung over the last two years. India is a market where it is facing stiff competition from regional players as well. That explains why it is releasing feature packed new handsets at lucrative prices of late. The recently released C5 will appeal to the users who want a trendy handset without burning hole in their pocket. The set comes with features like 3.2 MP camera, 3.5 mm Headset port, Ovi maps and a lot of other killer features. Wireless connectivity options are aplenty on this handset.
Nokia has released the C5 in the Indian market in two colors Gray and white. It is priced under INR 8000 and may give the rivals from the stable of Samsung and LG a run for their money. Apart from cutting the price margin for new feature loaded phones Nokia is also upgrading the existing high end phones. That is why it has rolled out a crucial update for its high end X6 model. The update is meant for the 8GB version of the model.
This firmware update for Nokia X6 8 GB is available for the buyers in India, Switzerland and Taiwan. The X6 is the only capacitive screen technology based phone of the company. The company has assured that the users will not have to bother abut data loss when they avail the update.
