Telvent names Gonzalez Dominguez new CEO
ROCKVILLE, Md. — Spain’s Telvent Git SA said Monday that it has named Ignacio Gonzalez Dominguez as the information technology company’s new chief executive officer, effective June 1.
Gonzalez Dominguez, who has been with the company since 1990, is currently the executive vice president of subsidiary Telvent Energy. He will replace Manuel Sanchez Ortega, who will continue as a director of Telvent and non-executive chairman of the board for the rest of the year.
Madrid-based Telvent, which provides IT services to customers in the energy and transportation industries, has its U.S. headquarters in Rockville.
Telvent shares declined 29 cents, or 1.3 percent, to $22.86 in regular trading Monday on Nasdaq.
