I use the “Save video plugin for Internet Explorer” to download videos from the internet. It even works with the new sites, shows the properties of video before downloading (duration, size, etc.). It has a in-built FLV player with playlist support, video rotation and many other useful features… |

When you play a video on such flash sites, under a linux system, the flash files (.flv) for such video sites are temporarily stored in /tmp/ with file names Flash* (without .flv extension), you can simply copy those files before closing the window. And rename it to ‘my favorite video.flv’ if you prefer. |
