Translator Plugin Pro provides automatic machine translation of your blog in thirteen major additional languages - German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Dutch, Greek, Russian, Swedish and Chinese (features, testimonials and download). It comes with country flags representing the various languages it can translate to. One of the frequent requests we have is how to replace the default flags with something bigger. Let’s find out how.

Translator Plugin Pro allows you to replace the default flags with your own set with very little effort. The flag images are located in the images directory within your translator pro directory. Each image is of the format: flag_cc.gif. cc represents the two character country code. So, for example, the Spanish flag is named flag_es.gif and the german flag is named flag_de.gif etc. All you have to do is replace them with the images of your choice.

In this article I will provide, as samples, three different set of flags you can use to further spice up your website and give it a distinct look. Feel free to photoshop them to your taste.
