DG FastChannel 4Q earnings rise 81 percent
DALLAS — DG FastChannel Inc., a digital media advertising services company, on Tuesday said fourth-quarter earnings rose by 81 percent, easily beating Wall Street expectations.
The company earned $9.96 million, or 40 cents per share, compared with a profit of $5.5 million, or 26 cents per share, in the same quarter a year earlier.
Revenue rose to $57.5 million from $52 million. Analysts were expecting a profit of 31 cents per share on revenue of $54.2 million.
For the year, the company earned $20.5 million, or 88 cents per share, compared with net income of $15.1 million, or 79 cents per share. Revenue rose to $190.9 million, up from $157.1 million.
Shares of DG FastChannel, based in Dallas, were up $3.52, or 12.1 percent, to $32.67 in midday trading.
