Direct TV Fixes Transmission Glitch

CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Direct TV customer service team faced a huge volume of calls where subscribers kept complaining about interruptions in the service. Direct TV subscribers said that they were unable to change channels on their television sets.
Facebook and Twitter which happens to be the most popular among the social networking sites witnessed several different posts and comments about the problem. Direct TV subscribers were of the opinion that its a major irresponsibility from the Direct TV team to have come up with sudden update on the decoder without notifying the customers.
The recent update that was released by Direct TV was meant to offer all customer a better reception and a hassle free transmission. However, there occurred a bug within the installation which kept interfering with the update and the settings. In due course of time Direct TV engineers could trace the root cause and fix the bug which had all connections up and running. Robert Mercer; the chief representative of the company said in an official statement that the update was released in order to better the service of Direct TV. He also apologized for the inconvenience and said that all digital decoders have been updated now and the customers shall enjoy a hassle free service. Direct TV which happens to be one of the most prominent satellite Television service providers in the country also launched a new feature for their digital decoders on the very same day and said that the new feature shall make it possible for each an every customer of Direct TV to connect their decoders to fifteen television sets at one time.
