Downloading May Become Taxable! Does that mean Porns will be Legitimized as Products?

Strange things happen in this world. And when politicians try to intervene technology, scary situations arise. Very simply let me give you the shock. New York Governor David Paterson has proposed a tax on Internet downloads. So what does that mean? It means whatever you download from the internet may be taxable and in general it will apply to any file, image, movie etc. Just think of this day when your dad will enquire with the rolling Income tax bill in his hand and ask you why did you download these things?
The Cause
The governor has floated the idea as a way of closing the state’s 15 billion dollar budget deficit.
The Effect
If it is taxed, I wonder what will be the effect! People already pay for using internet and with chargable download limits. What bout this tax then? Who will solve this mystery? Again, why do I need to pay tax for one service, twice? Period.
My Two Cents
Around 20 US states have begun to apply a tax to downloads such as music on iTunes, and similar measures are being mulled in Mississippi, North Dakota and Wisconsin. Anyway, if it is chargeable everywhere, then someone who downloads a porn movie will be paying tax for it! Whao! In a way aren’t we legitimizing it? I mean can we get a return tax bill someday for all the adult movies he downloaded from a site?
