SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- Those who are still going gaga over the flagship smart phone from the stable of HTC named Desire may be amazed to know that the company has planned to launch its successor in April itself. The carrier for the new phone would be Verizon Wireless and the model will be included in the Droid family of phones as it has been reported. It will be marketed as Droid Incredible. The phone will be released in the market on April 29th but the final price is yet to be set. The images and specs of the handset have been leaked on the web and from the images it is clear that the phone looks akin to Nexus One. The Specs are really impressive and if the marketing is done properly it may give all other Smart phones a run for their money.

The Droid Incredible runs on the Android OS version 2.1 and also makes use of HTC’s improved version of Sense UI. This is good news for the social networking buffs. HTC has left no stones unturned to make this model stand out among present generation smart phones. The gorgeous AMOLED screen of the phone is ideal for web browsing and watching videos. It has a resolution of 480800. The handset is powered by a beefy Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU that chugs at a speed of 1 GHz.

The Droid Incredible offers 8GB inbuilt storage with the provision of adding microSD cards. Its 8MP camera with autofocus is as good as a standalone digital camera. Verizon is likely to start showing its ad in the coming days.
