Eclipse 3.1 + Tomcat 5.5 Integration Solution
By Angsuman Chakraborty, Gaea News NetworkSaturday, September 17, 2005
I am trying to develop (java) web applications (running on Tomcat 5.5) with Eclipse 3.1.
The obvious choice - Sysdeo Tomcat plugin doesn’t work even with 3.1beta version.
After extracting the zip file and starting Eclipse, as instructed, further instructions cannot be followed as Tomcat doesn’t show up anywhere.
Anyone got it working on Eclipse 3.1? Any other solutions?
Thanks.

Hi, I’m using the sysdeo plugin (3.1 beta) with eclipse 3.1 and I have a problem under linux and XP. I have no content assist in the display view with the plugin installed. If I remove the plugin, content assist in display works again. Does anyone know a patch or workaround for this? Thanks, |
