OGG files are created by most Linux software as it is an open source video file format, and truth be told has much better compression than mpg, wma, avi or other popular file formats on Windows.
Having said that, ogg files can be converted to flv (Flash Video) files or avi or even mpg file format. The accompanying video shows how you can convert ogg files to flv file format using ffmpeg.
