I Voice My Support For Narmada Bachao Andolan (Save Narmada River From Humongous Dam Movement); You Should Too

I strongly support the Naramada Bachao Andolan spearheaded by Ms. Medha Patekar. She is on a indefinite fast to promote the cause of several thousands of people in the valley and for protecting the ecosystem.

The Sardar Sarovar Project aims to significantly drown large areas in Narmada basin to create a humongous dam which will severely damage the local ecosystem and displace several thousands of local tribal population from their homeland.

The whole project is a travesty against humanity and nature.

It is extremely sad to see BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) supporting the Sardar Sarivar Project, solely to satisfy their patron Gujrat business community.
