Tough competition in the smart phone market led the handset maker to cut its outlook for the current quarter.
BP PLC, up 45 cents at $31.85
President Barack Obama met with company executives to press the oil giant to pay into a claims fund for oil spill victims.
FedEx Corp., down $4.94 at $78.07
Despite strong fourth quarter results, the shipping company offered a conservative outlook for its next fiscal year.
Sunoco Inc., up $2.03 at $34.27
The petroleum refiner plans to spin off its metallurgical coke manufacturing operations, part of a plan to boost the value of its shares.
Fannie Mae, down 36 cents at 56 cents
The government-sponsored mortgage finance company and its sibling, Freddie Mac, will delist shares from the New York Stock Exchange.
Clarcor Inc., up $1.56 at $38.01
The maker of filters and packaging reported strong growth in second-quarter net income and raised its 2010 profit forecast.

Covidien PLC, which makes drugs and medical devices, will buy the diagnostic equipment maker for about $300 million.
Curis Inc., down $1.57 at $1.69
The drug developer said a potential colon cancer treatment, its key drug candidate, failed to meet its goal in a clinical study.
