Managing the Windows was always easy like nothing. As expected, I found things have turned even more facile with Windows 7. Whether simply dragging a window to top of the screen or dock a window to right or left half of the screen. You can even double click on Window top or bottom border to maximize it vertically with same horizontal width. If I say you can do all of that without a mouse. How? Here’s the clue..
There are some keyboard shortcuts that’ll help you with manage Windows easily. This could especially useful for side-by-side docking.
Keyboard shortcuts
1. To dock a Window
Towards left - > Win+Left Arrow
Towards right -> Win+Right Arrow
2. To maximize ->Win+Up Arrow
To restore/minimize-> Win+Down Arrow
3. To maximize vertical-size ->Win+Shift+Up Arrow
To restore vertical size - >Win+Shift+Down Arrow
Its just so simple, no? Enjoy.

If you truly want to be independent, try Integrated Keyboarding from https://www.inkeyboard.com which allows you to move the mouse and the cursor, highlight, scroll, drag, number and delete without moving you hands from the homekey position. |
