I am still sad for Terri Schiavo

It has been how long? A week perhaps or more. I am still sad about her unfortunate death.

I am sad that her issue lead to such bitter fighting between her closest relatives, with her husband trying desperately to end her life.

I do not know what she would have said if she could. Irrespective of her real or imagined wishes the fact remains that she died a horrible death by starving and thirst for thirteen days!
And we call ourselves civilized?

I am sad the media has stooped to such low as to make a circus out this macabre event.

No one deserves such death irrespective of the state she was in.

May her soul enjoy peace that she didn’t get for so many years while alive.
