Firefox 1.5 introduced two new features which drastically simplify extension development - the greatly simplified chrome registration scheme and reworked Extension Manager.

Mozilla Foundation has announced a competition for Firefox extension developers.

Submit your new or upgraded Extension to the Extend Firefox contest. If your Extension is judged to be one of the best by our panel of judges, you’ll win one of the prize packages listed below.
