Microsoft has just announced the release date of the new version of its most-coveted gaming machine - Xbox 360 slim. Now the avid gamers must be looking for Xbox Slim release date. Some of the gaming websites have confirmed that new Xbox 360 slim is available at selected outlets in US today and other stores will have the gaming console by tomorrow or the day after. For customers in UK, the Xbox 360 slim version will be released on July 16.
The new Xbox 360 or 250GB elite console includes a number of updated new features and specifications. Most importantly it offers a bigger hard drive for storage of more video games, videos, music, pictures and data. In addition, it has a built-in wifi and is a sleeker and chic design than its predecessor. The Xbox 360 slim cnsole will also work with the Microsoft Kinect Acessory that will involve motion sensing and voice command to the game and more. Users can enjoy streaming online movies and videos from Netflix. Still what’s lacking in the new Xbox 360 is the blu-ray capability that is available with rival Sony Playstation 3.
