ACS gets $163M Ohio child support payments deal
DALLAS — Information technology and outsourcing company Affiliated Computer Services Inc. said Wednesday it received a contract renewal worth up to $163 million to process child support payments for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
The contract starts with a one-year term, with up to four two-year extensions, for a possible total of nine years.
ACS said it has operated Ohio’s electronic child support payment system since 2002.
The company said it processes more than $13 billion in child support payments in 15 states. The company also processes Medicaid claims and services student loans.
Shares of ACS slipped 52 cents to $62.96 in afternoon trading.
