CHARLESTON, S.C. — Blackbaud Inc., a company that provides software and services for nonprofit groups, said Tuesday it is expanding its international reach by opening an office in Hong Kong.
The company said it has seen an increase in demand for its offerings from nonprofits in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Blackbaud’s new Hong Kong office will position us to make an impact in this emerging market,” Blackbaud CEO Marc Chardon said in a statement.
Blackbaud generated $39.7 million, or about 13 percent, of its revenue from international operations last year, according to the company’s filings.
Blackbaud shares rose 30 cents to $22.45 in morning trading.
