Globecomm gets 2 contracts for Caribbean services
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Satellite communications company Globecomm Systems Inc. said Thursday that it received two contracts to offer wireless services to service operators in the Caribbean.
Globecomm said the contracts are for CDMA — or code division multiple access — switching facilities for services in Antigua and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Globecomm Systems shares rose 13 cents to $7.83 in afternoon trading.
