Google has now ventured into Moon Mapping. Evidently earth has become too small for Google.

Google Moon uses NASA images in the Google Map system to enable you to browse lunar surface. The effort was made to commemorate first Lunar expedition from USA - The Apollo Mission.

Drag the zoom scrollbar to maximum (move it upwards) to find out what moon is really made of. Hint: Jerry of Tom & Jerry fame would love to be in moon forever.

Tongue-in-cheek they inform:

We usually don’t announce future products in advance, but in this case, yes, we can confirm that on July 20th, 2069, in honor of the 100th anniversary of mankind’s first manned lunar landing, Google will fully integrate Google Local search capabilities into Google Moon, which will allow our users to quickly find lunar business addresses, numbers and hours of operation, among other valuable forms of Moon-oriented local information.
