Sarah Palin hits back at Arnie’s ‘can’t see Russia’ Twitter jibe

MELBOURNE - Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has responded to a jibe from Arnold Schwarzenegger, who poked fun at her claim that it was possible to see Russia from Alaska.

“Over Anchorage, AK. Looking everywhere but can’t see Russia from here. Will keep you updated as search continues,” the California Governor wrote on his Twitter page as he flew over the state en route to Asia for a trade mission.

Palin too responded to Schwarzenegger on Twitter. She wrote: Arnold should have landed; I could have explained our multi-billion dollar state surplus and US energy security efforts. What’s he been up to?” reports News.com.au.

The retort was a jab at California’s 19 billion dollar deficit. (ANI)
