WASHINGTON — Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was among those landing Oval Office visits with President Barack Obama during his first months in office.
The White House late Friday afternoon released a partial list of visitors to the White House since Obama took office in January. The list identified two previously undisclosed Oval Office visitors — Gates and John Podesta, a former chief of staff under President Bill Clinton who headed Obama’s transition.
The subject of Gates’ meeting with Obama on March 25 isn’t revealed in the records. Neither is Podesta’s visit to the Oval Office on Feb. 2
Other high-profile visitors to the Obama White House include actor George Clooney. He met with Vice President Joe Biden on Feb. 23.
