Qlik Tech expects to raise $100 million in IPO

NEW YORK — Business software maker Qlik Technologies Inc. expects to raise up to $100 million through an initial public offering, according to a securities filing made Thursday.

The company makes software that is designed to help businesses mine information on databases. It plans to use $6.9 million of the proceeds to pay off debt and the rest for general corporate purposes.

It plans to list its shares on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “QLIK.”
