HCL to provide IT application support to US firm

NEW DELHI - Software service provider HCL Technologies Tuesday said it has won a contract from US-based beverages producer Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) to provide IT application support and infrastructure management services.

According to the contract, HCL will deliver application support to DPS and manage and monitor its infrastructure for a period of five years, the company said in a regulatory statement.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

DPS is a leading producer of flavoured beverages and some of its leading brands include 7UP, Canada Dry, Crush and Schweppes.

“With a world-class customer like DPS, we continue to expand our leadership in our consumer packaged goods vertical and bring on new staff at our new facility in North Carolina, HCL America president Shami Khorana said.

HCL will also deliver managed print services to DPS under the contract, the statement added.
