SAN FRANCISCO (Gaea Times.com)- Despite of the fact that technologists have given an upper hand to Android calling it to be the platform of the future, Microsoft seems to be less worried about the fact and wants to carry on with their own alter ego Windows Mobile 6.1. Microsoft has released an update to their Mobile Outlook for all WM6.1 enabled devices which shall be available for download Microsoft Fwlink at the official website.

The update is available at the Microsoft fwlink link which shall enable all Windows Mobile 6.1 users to update their Microsoft Outlook in accordance to the new release. All legacy users which include models like HTC Diamond, Treo 750 and Treo 800w along with Treo Pro shall be hugely benefited. As a matter of fact the legacy users and their devices find it is hard to gain ground with the recent advancements that happens with the platform. The update thus released is in terms with the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 which connects to the mainframe system and keeps a record of any and all updates. The new update to Microsoft fwlink will support all Threaded email. Besides it shall also support all basic functions like SMS synchronization, calendar and voice mail. However, whats upsetting is that there isn’t any HTML support for Microsoft Exchange accounts (except maybe Ex2010). Moreover, it fails to work with Google sync.

However, it is to be noted that the updates thus released shall only be available for download and use if it’s a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. Besides the Microsoft Fwlink, Microsoft shall also release periodic updates to upgrade all available corporate accounts using Microsoft Exchange 2010. The carrier channels will similarly flash the Microsoft Fwlink link for outlook updates.
