Tadalist is Slow!

We extensively use Tadalist to manage our daily tasks. Previously I wrote about the 5 missing features in tadalist. However I am over the days come to the undeniable conclusion that the most important missing feature of Tadalist is speed.
Tadalist is overwhelmingly, irritatingly slow. Its AJAX interface makes a joke of AJAX concept. You type in an item and wait for eons (read enough time to drink a cup of coffee) till it show up and you can type another item to the list. More and more I am thinking that my previous appreciation of this 37 signals products was misplaced. With several hundred items in the list and without even the basic paging or archiving, even the page take some time to display. Are they short-sighted or are they out of time and they consider Tadalist to be a foster child, to be cared only when plenty of resources are available. Ah well!
