Technopark partners with Chinese industrial zone

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - City-based information technology park Technopark has signed a cooperation agreement with China’s Dalian Hi-tech Zone, it was announced here Thursday.

Dalian Hi-tech is a mixed industry zone in China’s Dalian city, where pharmaceutical and IT services majors have units.

The agreement was signed in China by Technopark chief executive Mervin Alexander and Yuan Chi, investment promotion director of the Dalian zone, Technopark said in a statement.

This is the second IT cooperation agreement Technopark signs with Chinese entities this week.

The IT park had entered into a similar partnership with Beijing’s Zhongguancun Software Park Co Monday.

Alexander, along with some other IT industry officials from Kerala, are in China to promote cooperation between the IT companies from both sides.
