Yahoomail India To Incorporate Facebook, Twitter And More

India (GaeaTimes.com)- The current news doing rounds is that Yahoomail India will soon be incorporating Facebook, Twitter and more to its domain. The Yahoo! page already has a Facebook connect and the Indian Yahoo! page will be seeing one too in the coming days. Sources say that with the launch of the mobile 3G will be a huge new portal for the Indian market. The new feature will allow the Indian users of Facebook to access it from there Yahoo! pages itself. Yahoo! India reportedly has a base of around 74.5% of the Indian population. The new feature could even help Yahoo! increase its user base.

There is only one man behind Yahoomail India Facebook and Twitter, and he is Bryan Lamkin. He is also the man credited with the creation of Yahoo! Groups and Answers, Yahoo Messenger and lots more. Bryan Lamkin made his name in the tech world by innovating Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver with his Adobe stint. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President in Yahoo! Inc. Bryan Lamkin in a recent interview said that the Indians are playing a major role in the company’s launches.

Before this, there have been a number of search engines that had incorporated social networking medias like Facebook and Twitter. Yahoo’s turn to do the same came a little later. Reportedly, Twitter made a partnership with Bing and Google whereas Yahoo! made one with Facebook. After Yahoo!’s successful partnership with Facebook its now Yahoo! India’s turn to incorporate Facebook.
