This is for those using Windows 7. Do you know that when you use the Internet Explorer InPrivate Browsing window, the InPrivate Blocking is turned on by default? The purpose of InPrivate Blocking is to prevent websites from collecting information about the sites you have visited. So what about doing a few tweaks and customizing it as you wish? Here is a simple guide.

The InPrivate Blocking analyzes the content of the website you have visited. In case the same content is used by several sites, it simply adds or the sites to its list in order to block or allow the content. InPrivate Blocking prevents any website content of third party content from displaying the defects in at least 10 different websites you visited. Further, you can also set the number of websites you have visited that share content  before they are allotted in the list.
Again, you can turn off InPrivate Blocking and allow or block the list of third party website content manually.

Now, how will you set On(auto) or Off InPrivate Blocking, here’s the clue

Step 1

First open a InPrivate Browsing window

Step 2

Look for the safety command bar icon button on the right top. Click on it. Then click on the InPrivate Blocking.

Go to the Step 4, 5, 6 directly.

Step 3

Go to the Tools Menu Bar and look for the InPrivate Blocking

Then follow the Step 4, 5, or 6

Step 4

Now to turn off the InPrivate Blocking you need to start after the point i) select the Turn off InPrivate Blocking and click Ok

Step 5

To turn on (Auto) InPrivate Blocking select the Automatically block option. Then go down to the box beside Show third-party content used by this number of sites you’ve visited. The Minimum is 3 and maximum is 30. Put the number and click on the refresh button.

Step 6

In order to handle InPrivate Blocking manually select the manually block option. Put the number in Show third-party content used by this number of sites you’ve visited  and follow the same as in step 5.

Choose a listed third party website and click on the Allow or Block button according to your preference.

Step 7

After completing the InPrivate Browsing Session close the Internet Explorer Inprivate Browsing window.

I like the idea of some of the features (those that I understand) in InPrivate. Instructions for opening an IE8 session with InPrivate automatically were easy to introduce and work as advertised.

However, when IE8 opens, the about:InPrivate screen opens, not my home page. Anyone know how to go directly to home page and have InPrivate ON?

Thanks for any response.
