ChipMOS Technologies April revenue climbs

SAN FRANCISCO — ChipMOS Technologies Ltd., which provides chip testing and assembly services, said Thursday that its revenue climbed 46.9 percent in April.

ChipMOS, which is based in Taiwan, said April revenue rose year over year to $44.1 million from $30 million. This is an increase of 6.5 percent from the previous month.

ChipMOS shares dropped 15 cents, or 8.1 percent, to $1.71.
