Incoming Alaska governor to tweet less than Palin
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska’s incoming governor isn’t the tweeter that Sarah Palin is.
Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell says he “may or may not” use a new Twitter account his staff established for him this week.
Parnell will be sworn in as Alaska governor on July 26 upon Palin’s resignation.
Palin has become an avid Facebook and Twitter user, posting eight to 10 tweets — or updates — daily on Twitter.
A spokesman for the governor’s office, David Murrow, says Twitter will be a much smaller part of the communication strategy for the Parnell administration. Parnell also has his own Facebook and Web pages.
