Is Technorati Broken?

Nowadays very frequently it comes up with:

Sorry, we couldn’t complete your search because we’re experiencing a high volume of requests right now. Please try again in a minute or add this search to your watchlist to track conversation.

Everytime I try to do a sort by authority on this blog results it displays the above message. And for lots of other queries too. But that is not all.

There are issues with the number of links it displays. It shows some of the latest links but the count is not updated for weeks, if not longer.

There are minor issues like the last link of many RSS feeds are found to be removed.
It shows the end of an RSS feed as its excerpt. I would have thought the head or first paragraph is better representative of the feed content then its ending segment.

I suspect it is not merely a lack-of-resource issue. It may have to do with the architecture of its new (Ajax based) website.

It seems to break quite frequently. Right now, I’m having the same tag problems that you are.
