Self declared spam king files for Chapter 11 (Bankruptcy protection)

Scott Richter, the man behind OptInRealBig.com and billions of junk mail messages, said lawsuits had forced the company into Chapter 11.
OptInRealBig was fighting several legal battles, most notably against Microsoft, which is pushing for millions of dollars in damages.
Much of the spam in our mailbox comes from few big spammers like him. Once the top rung goes down, the little guys will be scared to do much damage.
I think Microsoft is right on the money on this one. The best way against spammers is to fight them legally. However that option can only be taken by big companies like Microsoft or IBM.
