Siemens provides additional technology to Chrysler
PLANO, Texas — Siemens AG’s automation software division said Monday it has agreed to provide technology for product design and development to Chrysler Group LLC.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Siemens PLM Software unit said Chrysler has been using another of its programs, Teamcenter, since 2008. Now the U.S. car manufacturer is adding a product called NX, which the software maker said will make for more efficient engineering and design.
Siemens is based in Munich.
