The Werken Company Goes Dental

The web site of the werken company (creator of drools - business rule engine, werkflow - workflow management software etc.) has apparently decided to venture into “Dental implants and dental”; I am not kidding.

Their site lists their products which they have released under open source license like drools etc. Along with that they have listed:
beep4j: Java BEEP Server Framework
With curiosity I clicked on the link ( https://beep4j.org/ ) which took me to a spam page on dental implants. It says - “Learn about dental terminology and educate yourself with our comprehensive dental glossary.”

As much as I admire my dentist’s work, I do not have the least inclination to learn about dental implants.

Their other product pages like jerk, IRC Bot engine, is pointing back to codehaus domain without any sign of the software. They even failed to keep their domain name - bee4j.org

As I mentioned before, they have taken down their workflow management software, werkflow, with promise of future release which is rather strange in the software industry.

Is Werken in dire financial straits?
