What is comment spamming? Couple of interesting case studies.

Sometimes I find people evangelizing some religion through comment spamming. Is it spamming?
I think it is. Without knowing the religion of a person if you try to thrust your own religion down his throat, it is wrong. The comments are mostly out-of-context which is a sure sign of spam. It is irrelevant that the said spammer believes he is doing a holy duty and will reach heaven or behasta (houris included) etc.
What do you think?
Sometimes I chance upon an website with really interesting content like https://www.problogger.net. There are several topics to which I feel I can say something meaningful and want to say something. And the way I browse such sites is that I keep the interesting pages open in tabs and whenever I get some time I just browse them. So very rarely it happens I post say 2 or 3 comments on the same site, but on different pages. Is it comment spam?
Note: I am not posting any links in comments. I am only making relevant comments.
I think it is not. In fact on my site I encourage frequent commenters.
However Spam karma thinks I am comment spamming
You tell me who is right.
