DDOS’ing the Spammers? Who cares?

Lycos Europe as you probably know has created a screen-saver which allows a controlling lycos software to target the idle time of the machines which installed the screen-savers to flood the network of known spammers.
Some people are getting concerned that it amounts to ddos attack.

Frankly I don’t care. Anything to get these spammers business down for good.
Anyone who has to deal with thousands of phetermine and sexually explicit ads daily will agree with me. The rest don’t have a clue what spam is.

I say we need more such efforts as Lycos. Lets put down these scumbags out of business for good. That will make the world and the net a better place to live.

Kudos to Microsoft for filing lawsuits against the spammers. This is one thing in which they will get my 100% support.

It is time the netizens unite against SPAM. We need a Anti-SPAM coalition with members across the globe, not just US.

BTW: What happened to spamford wallace?
