NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — It seems Google is afraid of Chinese people. The Googleplex men had been complaining about China’s Internet policies for a long time. Perhaps the thought has gathered consensus over time, as Google search shows up some weird suggestions for a simple search.
Surprisingly, “I am extremely terrified of Chinese people,” was among the hottest topics on Google late Monday evening.
If any user types any query into Google, the search engine automatically completes the search term by giving suggestions. If anyone typed “I am e ” in Google search, an odd suggestion like “I am extremely terrified of Chinese people,” appeared as the foremost suggestion on the list.
All said and done, the most interesting fact that could get on the Chinese nerves is, all the suggestion that Google provides are taken from the searches of the previous users of Google search all over the world. So, the question that arises is that, are people all over the world afraid of Chinese people? Or it’s just a Google trick?
Although no official statement has been issued from Google, who knows what reaction the Chinese government will give on this latest incident. In the mean time we would like you to pour in your thoughts about the fiasco.
