If you have read our article battle of browsers, I guess you know by now that Google Chrome is fast coming up to be in the front line of popularity amongst broswers. They have taken another step towards achieving it by making Google Chrome customizable. You must be wondering how is it possible.
Google designed Chrome to be lightweight and fast, to have a minimalist user interface, and to resist crashing under have JavaScript demands of Web applications. But we have seen several Google Chrome users complaining about not being able to use third party applications and extensions via Chrome unlike Firefox and Opera. So, when confronted with this, Google Chrome programmers had to come up with an effort to make it possible for developers to offer ad-blocking and other extensions for Chrome. Other third-party apps Google says it would support include bookmarking/navigation tools, download helpers, and privacy and parental controls.
These are really cool extensions and are almost essential for an internet browser. While we will be looking forward to Google Chrome’s add-ons, meanwhile, why don’t you join us in this discussion. Moreover you can develop something really cool for Google Chrome if you like coding.
Take care.
