SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- If you are one of those people who gets tired of going through pages after pages for finding information on flights online, there is good news. A new application named Hipmunk has been made available that makes looking for flight information and cost easier than ever before. Adam Goldstein a brilliant MIT engineering student created it in collaboration with his friend Steve Huffman. They began a summer project with the mission to deep an interface that makes looking for flight information a no brainer and straight forward affair. The application is very new but if the early feedbacks are anything to go by then it may overtake all other online flight information providing services fast enough.

Hipmunk has a really intuitive and easy to use interface with no clutter and that explains why it has found many takers. The leading technology review sites have given it green signal. The creator of the application said on the application that while he was developing it his first priority was making the user interface easier and simpler. He also wanted the end users to locate flight information in less time compared to the conventional applications. It displays the cost of a flight in vertical axis while the timing is displayed on the horizontal side. The use of specific color codes for airlines makes searching even simpler for the users.

Hipmunk has some limitations though. It is yet to offer support for multi city search. The users are of the opinion that its international search results are not robust. The flight data is also delivered by Orbitz.
