Linear Technology names former San Francisco mayor, State Farm executive to board

Linear Technology names 2 new board members

MILPITAS, Calif. — Chip maker Linear Technology Corp., said Wednesday it has named two new board members.

Joining the company as directors are Arthur Agnos, former mayor of San Francisco, and John Gordon, a State Farm Insurance executive.

The company’s stock fell fell 24 cents to $29.99.
