NORAD Santa Tracker 2009, Track Santa on Google Earth
By Jayita, Gaea News NetworkThursday, December 24, 2009
Merry Christmas! Friends are you eager to know where is Santa on this Christmas eve? Well you can track him on Google Earth, thanks to NORAD’s Santa Tracker site.
NORAD does this thing through a partnership with Google that began in 2007. NORAD’s Santa Tracker in 2009 aims to track Santa while on his journey around the world delivering his gifts to the children.
There is a doubt which strikes some of my friends that how does Santa complete his trip around the world within the short span of 24 hours. But they will be glad to know that Santa’s tour will continue for a week.
NORAD’s Santa Tracker site shows you where Santa is right now. Using high speed photography, combined with fighter jets, satellites and radar to locate him, NORAD manages to capture Jolly St. Nick as he passes over landmarks in countries around the world.
You can watch Santa’s track here.
Watch out the video to know where Santa traveled last year.
