Peerless Network: Court vacates trial date
CHICAGO — Communications company Peerless Network Inc. said Thursday that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division vacated the date of a trial that was to be held in September in a patent suit filed against it by rival Neutral Tandem.
Peerless, which is privately held, said the move will let the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office continue a review. Back in March, the patent office rejected all 23 claims made regarding one of Tandem’s patents.
