You get the latest in news, entertainment, sports, weather and more just by signing in. Well there are a good number of email services that are free. If you are ready to look beyond the top services like Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo or AIM, there are a number of no so popular email services that can serve for your alternative email. Although not too efficiently, most of these second rate email services feature storage, effective spam filtering, intuitive interface and desktop email program access. 1. Inbox
It’s one of the most accomplished free mail services that offers 5 GB to storage for email online. Inbox is highly polished service to access the web and POP3. There is no IMAP access, but the support page helps you to set up your favorite email client.
2. VFEmail
Virus Free Email(VFEmail) is designed for business and end users looking for fast and convenient email service with tight security. VFEmail scans each email including attachments for viruses before it enters your inbox. VFE features built in HTML, MS Word, and MS Excel document viewers. It also offers a mobile version of webmail after login. VFMail does not offer IMAP access. It doesn’t offer much storage space.
3. ICMail
This free email service features 1 GB storage, free POP3, free smtp and free email redirection. ICMail also offers unlimited aliases, free calender, free subdomains email address, free photo sharing and free blogs aliases. Still more it supports multiple languages - English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish.

It is a new and free email service that offers unlimited storage facilities and POP access to boot. Zapak has a potent spam filter to filter the junk mails out of the inbox.

This service 3GB of space for your emails. It takes 12-24 hours or less to register on the site. Those having account in the mailarge has to actively participate on the forum for at least once a week or more. In case a member fails to do so his/her account might be disabled.
