Twitterless - New Twitter App with 4 Very Useful Features
By Angsuman Chakraborty, Gaea News NetworkThursday, January 8, 2009
Twitter addicts can surely see who all are following them. Even a new follower can be tracked down easily. But what about the other side of the coin? What about them who stop following you? You may talk to them for a possible misunderstanding and get things back normally or perhaps politely ask them for their negative reaction or chances are that you will give them a darn look next time. Twitterless does just that. A twitter app with some very cool features. So you don’t need a separate app (Qwitter) for this purpose only.
1. Follower Graphs and Notifications
Twitterless will notify you when somebody stops following you and tell you who it is and your follower history is graphed out over time. Find out why you’re losing or gaining followers.
2. Filter Followers and Search Through Their Posts
Twitterless gives you a more descriptive view of your followers. You can filter them in real time by keywords in their descriptions or create searches for keywords in all your followers posts. Find out what your followers have to say about the stuff that interests you.
3. Profile Privacy and Auto Blockers and Followers
Twitterless allows you to make your profile private. If you don’t want to receive notifications you can turn them off as well. Twitterless also provides mechanisms to auto-follow or auto-block users based on criteria you specify. Stop spammers and build your friends list without putting in any effort of your own.
4. Post to Twitter Using Your Browser’s Address Bar
This is a very important and useful feature of Twitterless.
Traditionally, if you want to post a link to Twitter, you need to copy the link, convert it to a smaller URL, and then copy that and paste it to your preferred Twitter client. With Twitterless, just prepend the url in your browser’s address bar with the keyword of your choice along with your message and hit enter to post it to Twitter. The url will be compacted automatically so you don’t have to worry about character limitations!
